In the name
if God, Amen. I, William Barton of said state & county being feeble in
body but of sound mind and memory and knowing that is appointed of all
men once to die, do make and publish this, my last will and testament;
committing my body to the earth from when it was taken, and my soul to
God who gave it.
After
paying all my just debts, I herby will and bequeath to my much loved
daughter Alice Eliza one bedstead and furniture; her choice cow and calf
and Seventy five dollars in money.
2. I hereby
give and bequeath to my son John my watch and shaving appurtenances
The
remainder of my affects both real and personal I wish to be sold to the
best advantage and as soon as considered best and to distribute and
divide the proceeds equally and alike to all my children
I hereby
nominate and appoint my good son John B. Barton to Executor of this my
last will and testament hereby revoking all former will

Sealed and published by the above name William Barton in the presence of
us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence
of the testator on July -1- 1890

I, Willis
Cason, do swear that I as well as M.S. Graham, J.M. Johnson, saw the
within named Wm Barton sign and publish the with paper as his last will
and testament; that I subscribed the same as a witness thereto in the
special instance and request of the said Wm Barton and in his presence
as did also M.S. Graham and J.M. Johnson and G. T. Johnson that the said
Wm Barton Signed the same, freely and voluntarily and was at the time of
such singing of sound and disposing mind and memory.

Upon the
affidavit of Willis Cason one of the subscribing witnesses to the within
will of Wm Barton, deceased it is ordered by the court that said Will be
admitted to record as satisfactory proven in common form and it is
further ordered that letters testamentary to issue John B. Barton, the
Executor named in said Will upon his taking and subscribing the oath
required by law this 5th day of Nov. 1894.
