In the name of God Amen. I Sarah Dychus of said state and County being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made.

1st I desire and direct that my body be buried in a christain like manner suitable to my circumstances and condition in life.

2nd I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without unnecessary delay by my executors hereinafter named and appointed.

3rd I bequeath and divide to my daughter Emogene Grantham my home in Rochelle Georgia comprising City lots Number Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) and Thirteen (13) in block Twenty (20) Williford Survey being a part of land lot number 282 in the 8th District of Wilcox County Georgia to be hers in fee simple.

4th Except the property bequeathed and devised in the foregoing paragraph to Emogene Grantham in feel simple I give bequeath and devise all of my estate Comprising all property of every kind and description of which I may die seized and possessed whether real personal or mixed equally to my said daughter Emogene Grantham and my grand daughter (her daughter) Mattie Claude Grantham share and share alike. An in the vent that the property bequeathed and devised in this item cannot be equally divided in kind then my executor is hereby authorized empowered and directed to sell any portion thereof necessary to make the division of the same of equal value between my said daughter and grand daughter such sale may be made in such manner as the sound judgment and discression of my executor my indicate.

5th In the event of my death during the minority of my said grand daughter Mattie Claude Grantham I hereby appoint my brother Samuel B. Reid Trustee for said property herein before devised and bequeathed to said Mattie Claude Grantham to have and to hold same for her use and benefit as in his judgment may be deemed by him for her best interest. Upon her majority he shall turn over the same to her or in his sound discression he may do so when she shall arrive at the age of Eighteen years provided she shall be married at that time. The said Trustee shall not be required to give any bond nor to make any returns to any Court respecting his acts and doings as such.

6th I hereby name and appoint my brother Samuel B. Reid Executor of this Will, He shall not be required to make any bond or file any returns in any Court as such executor except he shall report to and have recorded in the Court of Ordinary of Wilcox County the division of the property here before bequeathed and devised equally to Emogene Grantham and Mattie Claude Grantham he shall be allowed for his services as such Executor the lawful compensation of Administrators and he shall also be allowed any legitimate expenses that may be incurred in carrying our the provisions of this will.

7th In the event of the death of my said executor before this Will is fully executed I request the Ordinary of this County to appoint some suitable discrete person as Administrator of my estate with this will annexed who shall be required to give bond file returns and make Settlements as the law requires of Administrators. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 22nd day of January 1909.

Signed and published by Sarah Dychus as her last will and testament in the presence of the undersigned who subscribe our names hereto as Witnesses at the instance and request of the Testator after she had signed her name thereto and in the presence of her and in the presence of each other this 22nd day of January 1909.

Before me personally appeared John N. Evans. R.R. Reid and D.B. Nicholson named as Witnesses to the within writing purporting to be the last will of Sarah Dychus who being duly sworn depose and say each for himself that they did on the 22nd day of January 1909 attest as witnesses the within writing in the presence of Sarah Dychus who in their presence voluntary signed and published the same as her last will and that said Sarah Dychus was at the time of said attestation and signing of sound and disposing mind and memory.
