Last Will
and Testament

I, Rachel
Wilson of said State and County being of sound and disposing mind and
memory do make this my last will and testament.
Item 1 I
desire my Executor hereinafter named to pay my just debts as soon after
my death as practicable.
Items 2nd
I give bequeath and devise to my son A.E. Wilson the following property
to wit – my house and lot Consisting of one half acre (excepting a strip
thirty nine feet broad and extending one hundred and five due east
across the) situated in the town of Abbeville Ga lying east of William
Quinn’s place and South of the C.M. E. Church and being the place where
I now live Also one feather bed and pillows also one cotton mattress
Also Eight quilted quilts one cow and one calf.
Item 3rd
I give bequeath and devise to my adopted son Columbus Mitchell the
following property to wit a strip of land off the south end of the half
acre lot mentioned in Item 2nd said strip being thirty nine
feet broad North and south and extending east and west entirely across
the lot that being a distance of one hundred and five feet said lot
being the same as that mentioned in Item 2 also two cotton mattresses
three quilted quilts and one white heifer yearling.
Item 4th
Any other property I may possess at the time of my death to be equally
divided between the said A.E. Wilson and Columbus Mitchell
Item 5th
I hereby constitute and appoint Stephen A. Bowen Executor of this my
last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand this March 5th 1904.

declared and published by Rachel Wilson as her last will and testament
in the presence of the undersigned who subscribe our names hereto as
Witnesses at the instance and request of said testator and in the
presence of her and in the presence of each other. This the 5th
day of March 1904.
