James H. Crumley, 52
James H. Crumley, 52 of Smyrna died Monday.
Services will be 2p.m. Thursday at Smyrna First Baptist Church with the Revs. Steve Kimmel and Carl Jameson officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Crumley had worked at Metro Electric Supplies for the past 12 years. He was warehouse manager. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife Eve A. (Aultman) Crumley; mother Lessie (Collins) Crumley of Hawkinsville; two daughters Dixie (Diana Ruth) Crumley of Limestone, TN and Dawn (Leonora Dawn Crumley) of Lexington, KY; son Chris (Christopher Collins) Crumley of Smyrna; brother Loran (Paul) Crumley of Hawkinsville; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today at Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna.

Loran Paul Crumley, 66 of Hawkinsville, GA, stepped into Heaven on Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2006 at the graveside in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilcox County. Following the gravesside service there will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. in the Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, GA. Rev. Carl D. Jameson will officiate at both services. Mr. Crumley was a native of Bibb County. He was a member and Deacon of The Broad Street Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School and through the years, served on the Building Committees of three different churches. Mr. Crumley was a self-employed businessman in the electrical supply and real estate businesses. He was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Hoke Crumley and Jimmy Crumley. He lived his life for the service of others and to the Glory of God. Survivors include his wife, Joyce B. Crumley of Hawkinsville, GA; daughter, Penny C. (Phil) Anderson of Charlotte, North Carolina; son, Loran Paul (Elizabeth) Crumley, Jr. of Woodstock, GA; mother, Lessie C. Crumley of Hawkinsville, GA; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Clark Funeral Home. The family can be contacted at the Crumley residence, Wildwood Avenue, Hawkinsville, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Broad Street Baptist Church Building Fund. Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, GA is in charge of the arrangements.

P. E. Doster Sr. Dies, Rites Held
     Philetus E. Doster Sr., 82, of Rt. 1 Abbeville, widely known farmer 
throughout this section, died Aug. 31 1962 ? in Taylor Memorial Hospital following a 
short illness.
     A native of Wilcox County, he was the son of the late Norman E. and 
Nannie Wilcox Doster, and was a member and deacon of Cedar Creek Baptist 
Church.  His wife, the former Ida Dennard, preceded him in death in 1955.
     He is survived by two sons, J. N. Doster and P. E. Doster Jr., both of 
Abbeville; a foster son, Irvin Dennard, Pineview; two daughters, Mrs. Martha 
Sims, Abbeville, and Mrs. Midge Panko, Chicago, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 
nine great grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. last Friday from Cedar Creek Church 
with the Rev. I. R. Hobby, the Rev. Leroy Hall and the Rev. Napp Granade 
officiating.
     Pallbearers were John S. Laidler, S. R. Owens, Joe L. Dennard, Statham 
Helms, W. O. Futch and Charles Finleyson.
     Honorary pallbearers were T. W. Parker, W. H. Gibbs, Scott James, Joe 
Jones, Joe Graham, Bryan Graham, Dr. W. P. Durham, Dr. J. D. Owens, John 
Doster, R. M. Harvey, N. M. Cohen, J. M. Mashburn, J. H. Owens, L. J. Morgan, 
C. R. McLeod Jr., and Henry McLeod.
     Interment was in Cedar Creek Cemetery with Jamerson Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.
