Last Will
and Testament

In the name
of God Amen. I, John G. Peavy of said State and County being of sound
mind and memory knowing that I must depart this life deem it right and
proper both as respects my family and myself that I should make a
disposition of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me
with I do therefore make this my last will and testament.
First I
desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like
manner in the Harmony Cemetery in the square or lot where my children
are buried with Masonic Honors suitable to my circumstance and
conditions in life. My soul I trust shall return to rest with God who
gave it as I hope for salvation through the merits and atonement of the
blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Second I
desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my
Executor hereinafter named and appointed and as I have just made Deeds
of gifts to B.Y. Peavy and Mayson Peavy my two sons of Fifty (50) acres
of land each I direct that my Daughter Clara Barker be paid $500.00 in
cash to balance off for the land deeded to said sons and that after all
debts burial expenses and bequeathment is settled off that the remaining
cash be equally divided between my four legal heirs and that whatever
perishable property I may have be also equally divided I also direct
that my wife has full control of the household goods and divides and
gives them out as she sees fit. I hereby Constitute and appointment my
two son B. Y. & Mayon Peavy Executors of this my last Will and
Testament. This March 16th 1922.

sealed and declared by John G. Peavy as his last will and testament in
presence of us the undersigned who subscribe our names hereto in the
presence of said testator at his special instance & request in the
presence of each other.
