Last Will and Testament of John B. Mitchell
State of Georgia Wilcox County
Last will and testament of John B. Mitchell of said
state and county being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my
last will and testament thereby revoking all other wills heretofore made by me.
Item 1st I wish my executor as soon as
possible after my death to pay my bills if a sale of property shall be necessary
I wish for him to select for sale that which can be most advantageously used for
that purpose and authorize him to sell the same at public or private sale as he
may see fit..
Item 2nd I give to my beloved wife Mary A.
Mitchell the following property to wit all corn fodder cane potatoes farming
implements two black mare mules named Flo and Annie and black horse named Bill
fifteen head of hogs and all the cattle now owned by me all house and kitchen
furniture one buggy and one two horse wagon.
Item 3rd The remainder of my estate after
all debts are paid to be equally divided between my wife and my seven children.
Item 4th I do hereby appoint S. Mitchell and
J.J. Mitchell Executors of this my Will.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this
20th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and thirteen.

Signed and published by Jno. B. Mitchell as his last
will and testament in the persents of the undersigned who subscribe to our names
hereto as Witnesses of the instance and request of said testator and in his
presence in the presence of each other this the 20th day of September
1913.
