Last Will
and Testament

I, James W.
Turner of Abbeville Wilcox County Georgia being of sound mind and memory
do declare this to be my last will and testament
Item 1st
– I give to my wife Bettie Turner (25) Twenty five acres of land
including a 16 acre field and all the buildings This to have and to hold
during her life time until her death and after her death said 25 acres
shall revert back to my heirs and assigns and Executors.
Item 2nd
– I give and devise to my three children all the remainder of land owned
by me except 10 acres which is mortgaged to my mother Sarah Turner.
After said mortgage shall have been paid off then said 10 acres of land
if any left shall go to my three children together with all the balance
of land owned by me the said land which I give and devise to my three
children Vis: Lemon Turner Rosia Turner and James Wootson Turner is
located principally in the North East Corner of Lot of Land no 122 in
the 1st District of Wilcox County Georgia and containing 59
acres more or less with all appurtenances thereunto belonging to have
and to hold unto them the said Lemon Turner Rosia Turner and James
Wootson Turner their heirs and assigns forever.
Item 3rd
– I also give and devise to my three children Lemon Turner Rosia Turner
and James Wootson Turner 13 ¾ acres of land more or less being in the
North East Corner of lot of land No 61 in the 1st District of
Wilcox County Georgia with all appurtenances there unto belonging to
have and to hold unto them the said Lemon Turner Rosia Turner and James
Wootson Turner.
Item 4th
– I appoint Lemon Pinkney and Ollie Turner my Executors of this will and
devise nor shall they be required to give any security for the
performance of their duties.
