In the name
of God, amen, we James Johnson & Mary Johns of the county of Wilcox &
State of Georgia being of sound & disposing mind & memory & being
desirous to settle our worldly affairs while we have strength so to do
make & publish this our last Will & Testament hereby revoking all other
will by us at any time made heretofore and
First
We commit
our souls to God who gave them & our worldly estate we dispose of as
follows.
First
It is our
will & desire that the whole of our estate remain together & after our
death after paying our debts to go to one only Caroline Mimms now
Caroline Doster & her bodily heirs & if so said Caroline Doster should
die & bear no heirs then it is our will & desire that Andrew Doster, the
husband of Caroline Doster should have it. In witness thereof, we the
said James Johnson & Mary Johnson to this our will, consisting of the
foregoing one sheet of paper have set our hands & seal this the 24th
day of February 1871.
