Last Will
and Testament

In the name
of God Amen I Elizabeth Collins of said State and County being of sound
and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament
hereby revoking all wills heretofore made by me.
Item 1st
I wish my Executor as soon as possible after my death to pay my just
debts in any exist. If a sale of property shall be necessary I wish him
to select for sale that which can be most advantageously used for that
purpose and I hereby authorize him to sell the same at public or private
auction as he may see fit.
Item 2nd
I give and bequeath to my beloved son R.G. Collins the following
property to wit. The entire business and Stock of personally of every
kind and description which I have recently purchased of and for him for
the sum of Twenty One Hundred Dollars and prior to said purchase owned
and operated by him the said R.G. Collins in the City of Monticello
Georgia under the name and Style of R.G. Collins including all and
singular all the machinery tools merchandise shoe names leather fixtures
and the entire stock of personalty belonging to said business now
situated in the Campbell Building on the North East Corner of the public
square of Monticello Georgia including also all the notes accounts and
shoes in actions belonging to said business all the hides in the Hickman
tan yard and all and every property belonging to said business also the
following note of John Johnson to R.G. Collins recently conveyed to me
but now held as collateral security by W. N. Jones viz: one note dated
12/1/1905 due 11/1/1907 for $16.00 one note dated 12/1/ 1905 due
11/1/1918 for $214.50.
Item 3rd
Having recently purchased said property from my son R.G. Collins it is
my wish and desire that in the event he survives me that all of said
property together with all and singular the improvements additions and
increase in stock of whatever kind that may be hereafter made in said
business together with the profits arising from the operation of said
business go back to him.
Item 4th
I do hereby appoint my son the said R.G. Collins executor of this my
will and direct that he be exempt from making an inventory or return of
said property.

Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 31st
day of December 1906.

sealed and published by Elizabeth Collins as her last will and testament
in the presence of the undersigned who subscribe our names hereto as
Witnesses at the instance and request of said testatrix and in her
presence and in the presence of each other this 31st day of
Dec. 1906

Before me
personally appeared T.S. Malone named as a Witness in the within writing
purporting to be the last will of Elizabeth Collins who being duly sworn
deposes and says that he with A.Y. Clements and W.S. Florence did on the
31st day of December 1906 attest as Witnesses the within
writing in the presence of Elizabeth Collins who is their presence did
voluntarily sign and publish the same as her last will and that he said
Elizabeth Collins was at the time of said Attestation and signing of
sound and disposing mind and memory.
