I, David W. Taylor a resident of said State and County being of sound mind and memory knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do hereby make declare and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all wills made by me prior to the date of this Will.

Items 1st It is my will and desire that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstances and conditions in life at New Bethel Church in Wilcox County Georgia.

Item 2nd It is my will and desire that all my just debts be paid without unnecessary delay by my Executor hereinafter named and appointed.

Item 3rd I give bequeath and devise to Mrs. Martha Rogers 25 acres of lot of land No 181 and 10 acres of lot of land No 204 in the 12th District of Wilcox County Georgia making a total of 35 acres.

Item 4th I give bequeath and devise to Leah Rogers all the other real estate I own at my death.

Item 5th I give bequeath and devise to my Nephew J. D. A. Smith one Horse and Buggy all the live stock of every kind and nature one cane mill and kettle one iron safe all my honey bees.

Item 6th I give my Executor the right to sell enough of my property to pay any debt that I might owe or pay the expense of setting up this Will.

Item 7th It is my will and desire should I die before my beloved wife Mary Ann Taylor that all my property shall be kept together and under his control and management until her death.

Item 8th I appoint my friend L.G. Gibbs Executor of this my last will and testament. This May 1st 1917.

Signed sealed and published by David W. Taylor as his last will and testament in the presence of us the undersigned who subscribe our names hereto in the presence of said testator after he had signed his name thereto and at his special instance and request and in the presence of each other this May 1st 1917.

Whereas I, D.W. Taylor did on the 1st day of May 1917 sign seal declare and publish my last will and testament in the presence of E.M. Bowen W.L. McKinley and J.L. Bennett who signed the said Will and testament as Witnesses and whereas I am desirous of making the following change and publish this Codicile to said Will and testament. I hereby revoke Item Eight as to the appointment of L.G. Gibbs Executor and hereby appoint my friend Jos. M. King Executor and all of my personal property and real estate to go to Leah Rogers except the 35 acres bequeathed to Martha Rogers. This Feby 11th 1920.
