Last Will
and Testament
Amanda J.
Wilcox
The last
will and testament of Amanda J. Wilcox of said State and County being of
sounds and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and
testament hereby revoking all will heretofore made by me.
Item 1st
I hereby appoint my son Marsh B. Wilcox as my Executor.
Item 2nd
As soon as possible after my death to pay my debts if the sale of
property is necessary I wish him to select for sale that which can be
most advantageously used for that purpose and I authorize him to sell
the same at public or private sale as he may see fit.
Item 3rd
I give and bequeath to my Seven children Marsh B. Wilcox, Martha Wilcox,
Abbie G. Wilcox, Sibbie J. Wilcox, John M. Wilcox, Celie L. Willcox and
Mark Wilcox my entire estate part of Lot of land no 106 in 1st
district of Wilcox County 415 acres also 12 head of cattle also one mule
and one horse together with all the household and kitchen furniture and
agriculture implements and it is my will that my Executor hold in
possession all of the above mentioned property until my youngest child
Mark becomes 21 yeas old and then an equal distribution to be made among
my sevent children.

published by Amanda J. Wilcox as her last will and testament in the
presence of the undersigned who subscribe our names here to as witnesses
at the instance and request of said testator and in her presence and in
the presence of each other this the 2nd day Nov. 1900

Before me
came G.C. Mixon, J.J. Parson and B.O. Tomberlin named as witnesses to
the within writing purporting to be the last will of Amanda J. Wilcox
and being duly sworn saith each for himself that they at the request of
Amanda J. Wilcox and in her presence did attest as Witnesses the within
writing as her Amanda J. Wilcox Will that the same was signed and
published by Amanda J. Wilcox in their presence as her last will that
she was at the time of said attestation and signing by herself of sound
and disposing mind and memory that she executed the with paper
voluntarily.
